Adam had a very enjoyable time recording with Trinity Boys Choir, conducted by David Swinson, at Angel Studios this week. The choral music recorded was for a forthcoming production music album for Beacon Music, produced in partnership with Mark Cousins.
Adam had a very exciting and productive few days recording music for ‘Ancient Worlds’, a forthcoming production music album for Sonoton Music, in Abbey Road Studio One, last week. With music composed by himself and also by Mark Cousins, the symphonic orchestra, made up of some of London’s finest musicians, was conducted by Pete Harrison.
This week, Adam’s latest concert piece, ‘Journey to Lapland’, was recorded by the wonderful Royal Ballet Sinfonia, conducted by Barry Wordsworth, at the Henry Wood Hall, London. The recording forms part of a forthcoming classical Christmas album, to be released later this year.
Adam – along with his media music partner Mark Cousins – is delighted to have been nominated for Best Score at the 2023 Production Music Awards, taking place this coming November. ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ was recorded last year with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra for KPM Music.
Adam had an enjoyable time recording the orchestra for the forthcoming Dark Heroes 2 album for Sonoton Music, providing music for modern cinematic action adventure, with all music composed by himself and by his media music partner, Mark Cousins. The fantastic orchestra was conducted by Pete Harrison.
Adam has just returned from a hugely enjoyable time recording an album of his compositions for big band, at Angel Studios, London, including two new songs in the style of the great American songbook, with wonderful lyrics by Mark Cousins. The superb big band was conducted by Pete Harrison, with vocalist Iain McKenzie and produced in partnership with Mark Cousins.
This week Adam was at AIR Studios recording his compositions for the forthcoming ‘Orchestral Sorrow’ album to be released on Sonoton Music. The sessions were hugely enjoyable, with the orchestra conducted by Stephen Bell and the album produced in partnership with Mark Cousins.
Some of Adam’s concert works are being performed this month by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Hallé, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Graz Philharmonic.
