Adam’s compositions were recorded over a hugely enjoyable series of sessions this week by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Pete Harrison, in Air Studios.
The album, ‘The Royals’, another production music project produced in partnership with Mark Cousins, will be released by Sonoton soon.
Ireland’s Ulster Orchestra will be including Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ as part of their Christmas concerts today (at the Waterfront Hall) and tomorrow (at the Millennium Forum).
Adam has just returned from an enjoyable week recording two orchestral albums of his compositions in Abbey Road Studio 1, for Sonoton Music.
The BBC National Orchestra of Wales will be performing and recording Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ on the 15th and 16th December as part of their Christmas Concerts this week, to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra will be performing Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ as part of their festive ‘Holidaze’ concert today.
Two of Adam’s Christmas-themed compositions bookend this coming weekend on Classic FM. Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ and ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas Correspondence’ (based on the spoof novel by John Julius Norwich and narrated by Joanna Lumley) are respectively part of the evening concerts, presented by John Suchet, this evening and on Monday evening.
Adam’s concert overture from 2003, ‘The Magical Kingdom’, is featured on the latest release from Heritage Records – ‘British Celebration 4’. It is performed by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, conducted by Gavin Sutherland.
The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Pete Harrison, gave the premiere performance of Adam’s new concert work, ‘Journey To Lapland’ yesterday. The concert, with socially-distanced audience, was also streamed live worldwide.
The Hallé, conducted by Stephen Bell, performs Adam’s Fairytale Sleighride as part of the Classic FM Concert this evening, presented by John Suchet.
