Adam’s ‘Journey To Lapland’ was performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Gavin Sutherland, in a live broadcast edition for BBC Radio 3 of the long-running and hugely popular series, from the Snape Maltings Concert Hall on 20th December.

Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ was performed in each of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Christmas Concerts this year, touring throughout Scotland and conducted by Stephen Bell.

Adam’s ‘Journey to Lapland’ and ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ were performed in the BBC National Orchestra of Wales Christmas Celebration Concerts, at the BBC Hoddinott Hall is Cardiff, conducted by Pete Harrison and featuring vocalist Louise Dearman. Adam greatly enjoyed attending the final concert which was recorded for broadcast on both BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Wales.

Adam was delighted to attend a performance of his recent Christmas concert work, ‘Journey to Lapland’, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, at the Cadogan Hall yesterday as part of the annual RPO ‘Christmas Cracker’ concert.

Adam has just returned from an enjoyable few days recording his compositions with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Pete Harrison, at AIR Studios. The album, for Sonoton Music, was produced in partnership with Adam’s media music partner, Mark Cousins.

This coming December sees a number of performances and broadcasts of Adam’s concert works by orchestras worldwide. These include the BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra in the UK. In the US there will be performances by the Washington Symphony Orchestra, Edgewood Symphony Orchestra and Longview Symphony Orchestra.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded a new album of Adam’s compositions for animation and adventure at AIR Studios this week, alongside compositions by Adam’s media music partner, Mark Cousins. The orchestra was conducted by Pete Harrison with Paul Golding as engineer for the sessions.

Adam had just returned from recording a new album of his compositions for Banijay / Universal, with the City of Prague Philharmonic conducted by Pete Harrison.

Adam’s ‘Journey to Lapland’ was performed by The Hallé, conducted by Stephen Bell, at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall yesterday evening, with further performances at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall and Warwick Arts Centre over the next few days.

Adam’s ‘Fairytale Sleighride’ will be performed in two concerts by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, tomorrow at London’s Cadogan Hall, at 3.00pm and 7.30pm.
